I am calling it an occupational hazard! I have to pass a litany of Pop Up shops on the Kings Road on my daily trek to the Post Office. I am very wary of Pop Up’s as a lot of them are charging too much for unknown brands that have no real re-sale and the items are often not much better than the High Street.
However, not Seraphina. This brand was one of the first on the market with well made and affordable cotton dresses. These are a step up from what you will find anywhere else. The fabrics and cuts are glorious and these are timeless pieces that you can wear every Summer. Best of all, they are not too flimsy AND they have pockets and sleeves so you can wear them at home too. A lot of holiday wear just doesn’t work back at home but these dresses do.
Fiona, the founder, is a lover of fabrics and she now coordinates and manufactures for a lot of other high end brands. I meet so many people on my travels but Fiona is one of the loveliest and most knowledgeable I have encountered in a long time. She knows the value of money and works extremely hard to keep her prices fair.
There are brands and shapes that come and go but the pieces you will buy from Seraphina just work and are as good as brands charging twice as much. They have 50% off on the dresses featured and more in store until Sunday!!
You can buy her pieces online or at her London Pop Up (only there until Sunday). The shop is full of treasures, from earrings to baskets (also stocking Mercedes De Salazar who makes the best earrings and bags). They stock other brands like Kapara (her off the shoulder dresses featured below are glorious) as well as a terrific kids wear section.
P.S. Not a sponsored post – just one girl supporting another on the hustle! If you are in Bicester Village on the Apartment on the 10th and 11th of July then pop in and check out Seraphina.
